Summary of their experience Chip far exceeded our expectations. We moved to Virginia from out of state and Chip provided so much knowledge about the various areas. His use of technology made our search efficient which was so important in the short time we had to house hunt. At the time that we decided to purchase a home, we were in the process of planning a wedding and had been introduced to at least three Realtors before meeting Chip. Chip provided me with a list of 47 homes that matched my preference. He patiently drove me around Fairfax County and showed me 43 of the homes that I had selected, all in a four day period. He strategically planned for the least amount of driving, by sectioning off the areas to view the homes. The time spent viewing the homes, and the rate of homes viewed per day, were under my control and I was never rushed. He was willing to show me any of the homes again, if I had desired. I had a townhouse ($335,000) on contract on the fifth day, and a month later I had my settlement. During the whole process, he helped saved money with his comparative market analysis ($10,000 savings), and his assistance with my home inspection ($200 savings plus work the owner had to do) and home owners association (HOA) packet review ($600 savings). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Working with Chip was a great experience as a first time homebuyer. Since I am a single mother on one income, I was nervous about the responsibility of owning a home and being able to afford. In order to be in my price range, my search focused on forclosed properties in Prince William County. Everytime I expressed intetest in a property, Chip made sure that I saw it. I was always able to get in touch with him and he responded promptly to phone calls and emails. In total, we saw around 20-30 townhomes some of them more than once as I tried to make a decision. Chip was always patient and supportive of the process. I genuinely felt that he wanted me to make the best decision in selecting a home. He offered practical, honest, and professional advice about the condition of the homes we viewed and things to be wary of as well as good strategies for putting in a winning bid. He had a lot of knowledge of the real estate market and showed me properties that would work with my wish list. He recommended a great morgage lender, settlement agent, home inspector, and repairman to make minor repairs in the home I eventually settled on. It was a very smooth process- even with buying a foreclosure :). Chip is a great agent to work with and makes a process that can be trying and stressful a lot less so.

We are very glad we asked Chip Warner of the Warner group to sell our house. The whole process went very smoothly. He first advised us how to prepare the house to make it attractive to buyers without spending a whole lot of money. Turns out the advice worked, because an attractive offer was made within hours after the "For Sale Sign" was pounded in. This was before the first open house was even held. All this took place in a down market. Chip advised us how to structure the contract to avoid possible pitfalls later on. Good thing, as one of those pitfalls came to pass. But because Chip had head it off at the pass, it was a non-issue. Several minor things cropped up before closing. Chip dealt with all of these with common sense solutions that both we and the buyers could readily agree with.
